To live, to love, to learn, to leave a legacy

To live, to love, to learn, to leave a legacy.

A good quote by Stephen R. Covey in his book, "First Things First". I like it so much. It covers all the 4 basic key areas that we always forget to make balance. We always focus on certain area at certain time. Some times, we take things for granted.

We focus on our work because we want to earn more money, but we always trade off our time with our health. We sacrify our time for exercise just to finish some work that we think urgent. But, some times we forget to ask whether it is urgent or important ...

We will only think of our love ones when we are free ... but, how much time do we spend to listen to them? How much time do we spend in keeping in touch with our family members or friends who stay far away from us? How much time do we spend in celebrating their happy moments?

We will always think of getting things done, but we forget to learn the principles. We always find short-cuts in getting things done faster, cheaper ... But, we forget about learning new skills, new knowledge ... When we find out we are behind someone ... We are too late ...

We may have people that we will remember forever. But, will other people want to remember me? People will remember us as a rich person? Or a good guy? Or for what good things that I have left behind? Who do you think will remember us? Our family members? Our friends? Our loved ones?

Hmmm ... it has been long time I didn't review my own "Mission Statement" .... :-)

Kick-off 2006!

Before the event starts, all the employees where networking outside the ballroom. Many stangers to me ... many of the peer-colleagues that come from Kedah, Penang, Johor, etc.

Our CEO is giving his presentation on our 2005 performance ... and the forecast of 2006 outlook ... in an interesting look :-)

Dangerous Work! Fear Factor??

There are many workers up there and hang themselves with robes! It is not a "Fear Factor" program! It is a real work!

The picture is taken for a construction work done nearby my office building. My office is located at the 7th floor, so can take a snapshot on this amazing dangerous work!

Raining, raining, raining

Throughout these coming few weeks, I guess there will be a continuing raining evening with bad jam condition for most of the key highways and town areas.

Hopefully, there won't be too long for the raining season ....
